During a press briefing before the concert, BET award winning act, Ice Prince said winning the international award ‘doesn’t mean more cheddah. It means more work more videos and more music to be born. I will not just sit back and rest I have to work even harder.’
The Boombaataa festival will be a yearly pop festival that celebrates African music, arts and culture in a day filled with good music, good food and African arts. This festival is organized by AdrenaLIVE a branch of Adrenalin In Motion that specializes in organising live events.
CEO and founder of Adrenaline in Motion Ahmed Mikwa told Nigerian Entertainment Today, ‘We are very excited about the Boombaataa festival. Just like the name of the Festival Boombaataa, which means celebration, we are hoping to celebrate in a unique way and embrace diversity which is one thing we stand for as Adrenalive. Kenyans should get ready for many more spectacular live events from Adrenalive.’
